What you’ll do as a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) - Hospice:
- Assisting patients with personal care, such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Administering medication and monitoring vital signs as directed by the hospice nurse
- Providing light housekeeping duties, including meal preparation, laundry, and tidying up patient areas
- Providing companionship and emotional support to patients and their families
- Observing and reporting changes in patients' health status to the hospice nurse

To be a success as a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) - Hospice:
- 1+ years Hospice Experience required
- High school diploma or GED
- Completion of a state-approved Home Health Aide training program
- Current certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA) in the state of CA
- Prior experience working with hospice patients preferred
- Ability to provide compassionate and empathetic care to patients and their families
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
