We are seeking a dedicated Electromechanical Assembler for our 1st Shift (6am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, 9/80 Schedule) who can work additional hours as needed. This role involves assembling and soldering components for tactical power systems used by the US military.
Responsibilities
- Experience with circular connectors is required.
- Perform various types of soldering including surface mount, thru-hole, and hand-soldering.
- Consult the production schedule to prepare work area and equipment.
- Gather components needed to meet production schedules.
- Set up equipment and solder components together.
- Complete projects by smoothing rough edges of products.
- Document production totals and any errors.
- Clean work area and equipment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Work under a microscope approximately 5% of the time.
Essential Skills
- 3-5+ years of soldering experience including SMT, thru-hole, and cable soldering.
- Previous experience with J-STD-001 or IPC 610.
- Experience in circular connector soldering.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to read equipment manuals.
- Extensive knowledge of soldering processes and techniques.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with IPC 620, blueprints, schematics, wiring, and electrical assembly.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
