ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES include the following:
· Performs guest service responsibilities to include checking guests in an out, luggage assistance, luggage storage, luggage retrieval, and valet parking.
Act as security 2 - 3 nights per week, patrolling the building and assisting guests.
· Assists guests with luggage, obtain taxicabs, answers inquiries, valet parking and delivers amenities.
· Assists guests with items such as property amenities, directions, information about the area, etc.
· Handles cash and charge transactions from the day, maintains accurate records and balances at the end of each shift.
· Makes electronic transfers.
· Balances credit cards, front desk and restaurant transactions.
· Conducts wake-up calls for guests.
· Processes daily information from Restaurants and runs daily guest list reports.
· Reconciles revenue position accounts on daily basis and inputs information from reports into computer.
· Prepares and distributes daily and other reports to the restaurants, front desk, housekeeping, and other service areas.
· Provides security during shift by patrolling buildings and grounds of the property to ensure the safety and security of guests, visitors, and employees.
· Examines doors, windows, and gates to determine that they are locked and secure.
· Warns violators of rule infractions, such as loitering; smoking, trespassing, or carrying forbidden articles.
· Escorts persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts off property.
· Inspects equipment and machinery to ascertain if tampering has occurred.
· Watches for and reports irregularities such as fire hazards, leaking water pipes, and security doors left unlocked.
· Observes departing personnel to guard against theft of company property and conducts random property inspections.
· Activate alarms in emergency situations.
· Calls police and/or fire department by telephone in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
· Records data such as property damage, unusual occurrences and malfunctioning of machinery or equipment for use of supervisory staff.
· Responds to all guest, visitor, employee, and patron requests in a friendly and efficient manner.
· Responds to noise complaints as directed.
· Functions as M.O.D. (Manager on Duty) during shift, and performing all supervisory and management functions of the M.O.D.
· Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school education or GED, three years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read basic procedures and information. Ability to write reports when necessary. Ability to effectively present information in English and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, guests, employees, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exits. Ability to calculate figures and amounts and apply such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Be prepared to communicate to other staff, outside auditors and management as to the status and veracity of figures.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES
Must take appropriate measures to ensure confidentiality of information. Ability to work in an efficient and professional manner with limited supervision. Ability to use a networked PC effectively with a working knowledge of Word and/or Excel, and other desktop publishing software. Must have a valid driver’s license and be 21 years of age or older to drive for and on behalf of the Company.
