Job Description
A San Francisco government agency is seeking an experienced Paralegal to support its legal team with a high-volume, time-sensitive document production project in Relativity. The ideal candidate will bring direct experience managing Relativity productions, including creating production sets, applying redactions, handling metadata, and performing final quality checks prior to release.
The agency is responding to an active legal matter under subpoena, and this position will play a key role in ensuring production accuracy and compliance. This is a fully remote, short-term contract assignment requiring immediate support to complete production within a tight timeline.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform document productions in Relativity, including creating and managing production sets, applying Bates numbers and redactions, managing metadata and privilege tag filters, and exporting production files with load file generation
- Conduct final quality control to ensure compliance with production protocols
- Coordinate with attorneys and litigation support to clarify production scope and requirements
- Track and document production progress as needed
Qualifications:
- ABA-approved paralegal certification preferred
- 3–5+ years of paralegal experience in a law firm or government/in-house legal department
- Resumes must clearly reflect experience producing documents in Relativity (not just review work)
- Strong understanding of eDiscovery workflows, including privilege, redaction, and metadata protocols
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting
- Reliable internet connection and availability to start Monday, April 21
This is an excellent opportunity to support a public agency on a high-impact legal matter while applying your technical eDiscovery and Relativity expertise. If you have direct, hands-on experience producing documents in Relativity, we encourage you to apply today!
