Salary Range: $28-31/hr

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and understand single-lines or blueprints
- Assemble, install, test and maintain electrical writing, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools
- Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, UPSs, Automatic Transfer Switches and/ or other components
- Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system
- Pulling wires from #22 to 750 mcm
- Fabrication (metal, wood, and electrical)
- Maintenance of Saunders Electric Equipment including distribution, transformers, etc.
- On-site set up & tear down of electrical distribution, transformers, generators, UPS, and PDS
- Making temporary electrical connections in 208V, 480V, 2400V and 4160V switchboards to support Portable Power system needs.
- Attend required training programs
- Work with various power tools
- Organize stick, perform electrical and facility maintenance in the shop as needed
- Perform warehouse equipment needs
- Maintain a clean and safe shop work environment
- Maintain & build new HVAC rental equipment
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Three years of electrical experience required.
- Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and wiring.
- Knowledge of different types of UPS and transformers and their operation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
- Proficient in the use of test meters and other diagnostic equipment.
- Proficiency in speaking and writing English required.
- High school diploma or the equivalent required.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
- Ability to travel out of the state, potentially for extended periods of time required.
- Movements including but not limited to prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders or scaffolding are required.
- Regularly required to use hands to handle or feel; talk; see; and/or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and color vision to discern color-coded wiring.
- Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits.
- Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds at all times.
