You will canvass residential neighborhoods in Southern California while educating homeowners about the benefits of going solar. The goal is to schedule consultations between the decision maker and a Senior Solar Consultant.

Duties
- Door to Door canvassing to identify potential customers and schedule solar consultations
- Generate leads and build a pipeline of prospective clients
- Educate customers on the benefits of solar energy and the products/services offered
- Previous experience in any sales is a must (6+ months)
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport
- Knowledge of solar energy systems, products, and industry trends is a plus
Compensation
One of the best commission structures in the industry! This is a 100% Commission-Only position. Set your own hours. Commission is paid after each solar system installation. Highly rewarding (see Compensation below) but it normally takes 2-3 months of building a pipeline to earn your first commission. Those that start strong earn their first commission after 30-45 days.
Highly competitive commission structure. Top Jr Reps earn over $150,000 in their first year. Average Jr Reps earn $70,000-100,000 in their first year. Jr Reps can be promoted to Solar Consultant which average $100,000-$200,000 with top reps earning over $500,000. Top Solar consultant reps with excellent leadership skills who build a team of Jr Reps around them to set up appointments earn over $1 million a year.
Description
As a Solar Consultant, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of our solar energy business. Your primary responsibility will be to generate leads, educate customers, and set up appointments. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, from residential homeowners to commercial businesses, helping them transition to clean and sustainable energy sources.
In this role, you will utilize your market research skills to identify potential customers and target markets. You will then engage with these prospects, providing them with information about solar energy benefits and our products/services.
To excel in this position, you should have at least 6 months of experience in any sales. A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets is highly desirable. Exceptional customer service skills are also important to build rapport and establish long-term relationships with clients. Knowledge of solar energy systems, products, and industry trends is highly beneficial. Experience with Salesforce software is a plus.
