Responsibilities

Engage with clients, listen to their stories, and provide them with a comforting presence throughout their legal journey.

Draft and review pleadings, motions, and agreements, ensuring every comma and clause is right.

Preparation of Joinders

Preparing and reviewing discovery packages, including disclosure statements, answers to interrogatories, and production requests

Keep cases on track by managing deadlines, organizing files, and maintaining meticulous records.

Assist with filing documents with the court and coordinating with clients and opposing counsel.
Skills
-
A calm demeanor and the ability to listen actively, providing clients with a sense of security and understanding.

Knowledge of California Family Law, Civil Procedures, and Court Rules

Knowledge of MS Office and ability to work with legal technology (court-filing computer systems, transcription software, dictaphone etc)

Time-management skills

A cooperative spirit, ready to jump in and assist wherever needed to ensure the success of the team.
