Job Summary: The Schedule Integrator supports high-consequence programs under the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) Defense Programs, with a focus on nuclear weapons design, development, and production modernization. This mission-critical position is responsible for developing and maintaining a robust Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) that reflects complex, multi-disciplinary work across the nuclear security enterprise.

Working closely with engineering, manufacturing, project management, and federal oversight teams, the Schedule Integrator ensures accurate and integrated schedule planning to support program objectives, milestone delivery, and NNSA reporting requirements. This is a full-time, on-site position supporting the U.S. nuclear deterrent mission.

Key Responsibilities:

Integrated Scheduling for NNSA Programs:

  • Develop, maintain, and integrate project schedules into a program-level Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) using Primavera P6, consistent with NNSA/DOE requirements.
  • Align schedule content with nuclear weapons lifecycle phases: conceptual design, system development, qualification, production, surveillance, and dismantlement.
  • Incorporate schedule inputs from national laboratories, production sites, and federal program offices to ensure enterprise-wide visibility and integration.
  • Identify and track technical interdependencies, regulatory milestones, and deliverables related to key NNSA program elements.
  • Perform Critical Path Method (CPM) analysis to highlight mission-impacting risks and schedule drivers.

Cross-Agency Coordination & Integration:

  • Collaborate with NNSA federal program offices, national laboratories, and production agencies (e.g., LANL/LLNL, SNL, Pantex, Y-12, KCNSC) to obtain schedule updates and validate cross-site integration.
  • Support federal program managers with briefing materials, milestone tracking, and status reports required for Program Execution Reviews and external oversight (e.g., GAO, IG).
  • Facilitate schedule change control boards and maintain traceability to baseline changes.

Schedule Analysis & Performance Reporting:

  • Conduct schedule health checks using industry best practices (e.g., DCMA 14-point assessment, Acumen Fuse) to ensure logical, high-quality network schedules.
  • Develop integrated reports and dashboards that support Earned Value Management (EVM), milestone variance analysis, and critical path impact assessments.
  • Monitor performance against NNSA-defined milestones and Key Performance Parameters (KPPs); support risk-informed forecasting.

Schedule Baseline & Configuration Management:

  • Establish and manage the Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB) schedule and support formal baseline change proposals.
  • Maintain documentation of schedule assumptions, constraints, and logic ties across the nuclear weapons lifecycle.
  • Ensure configuration control of approved schedules and interfaces with Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and Cost Breakdown Structures (CBS).

Process Improvement & Tool Support:

  • Drive continuous improvement in scheduling processes, IMS quality, and cross-system integration (e.g., between Primavera P6, Deltek Cobra, and risk management tools).
  • Develop scheduling standards, procedures, and templates tailored to NNSA Defense Programs.
  • Train internal and external stakeholders on schedule development, logic quality, and integration best practices.

Security Clearance & Work Location Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Must have an active DOE Q clearance, active DoD TS clearance, or the ability to obtain a DOE Q clearance.
  • This is a full-time, on-site position supporting high-security government facilities; remote work is not permitted.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of scheduling experience on large, technically complex government programs.
  • Proficiency with Primavera P6 is required; experience integrating multi-tiered schedules into a program IMS is strongly preferred.
  • Understanding of the nuclear weapons lifecycle and experience supporting NNSA Defense Programs, DOE, or DoD projects.
  • Experience working within an Earned Value Management (EVM) or project controls environment.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills across multi-agency teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting nuclear weapons modernization programs, or associated infrastructure projects.
  • Knowledge of NNSA-specific scheduling policies and reporting formats.
  • Proficiency with Deltek Acumen Fuse, Cobra, and integration of cost, risk, and schedule data.
  • Certification in PMP, PSP (AACE), or equivalent scheduling credentials.
  • Familiarity with DOE O 413.3B project delivery and performance baselining principles
