Facilities Engineer for a contract opportunity in Palmdale, CA.
This position is 100% onsite.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Must have the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
-Minimum 2 years of experience in Construction Project Management
-2 years of experience with Auto-Cad 2 Year
-2 years of experience with Microsoft Project
-Ability to read/interpret blueprints / use digital measuring devices
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Leading and managing facility improvement projects, including renovations, expansions, and equipment installations, from conception to completion.
o Developing comprehensive project plans, managing budgets and schedules, and coordinating effectively with contractors and vendors to ensure timely and on-budget delivery.
o Gathering and analyzing data regarding facility specifications, regulatory requirements, and construction feasibility to inform decision-making.
o Collaborating with architecture and engineering firms to establish design criteria and prepare detailed layout drawings.
o Preparing bid sheets and contracts for construction and facility acquisitions, ensuring compliance with all relevant safety and regulatory standards.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Active Secret Clearance is highly preferred

Accredited Bachelor's Degree
