Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our team. This position involves working closely with the quality engineer onsite to review and quality test products that are returned, identifying and addressing issues. The role includes a variety of tasks related to quality assurance and control, with a focus on ensuring the high standards of our products.
Responsibilities
- Perform incoming process inspection, validating the quality of purchased materials and assembled components by contract manufacturers.
- Draft and review Lot History Records (LHR) and Device History Records (DHR).
- Address and investigate non-conformance issues, coordinating with engineers to troubleshoot problems within the process.
- Perform duties related to equipment control and calibration management.
- Conduct Complaint Management activities, including data entry, analysis, investigations, and processing complaints from start to finish in accordance with applicable procedures and 21CFR820 requirements.
- Assist with Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) process activities, including data entry, investigation, action planning, verification of effectiveness, and record closure.
- Complete tasks in various Quality Management System (QMS) processes such as document and change control, QMS training, equipment management, nonconforming material control, and quality records.
- Support the returned product process in collaboration with the operations team.
Essential Skills
- Experience in Quality Assurance/Control within a manufacturing company.
- Experience working within an FDA QSR compliant Quality Management System, particularly in medical devices.
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as NetSuite and Arena.
- Strong interpersonal, analytic, and organizational skills.
- Minimum of B.A. degree or 2 years of relevant work experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in equipment calibration is a plus.
- Experience in managing device complaints is a plus.
- Ability to lift objects up to 25 pounds.

You will be working within a quality lab, closely collaborating with the manufacturing and engineering teams. The work involves hands-on tasks related to quality control and assurance.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Burlingame, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $40.00/hr.
